University of Saint Francis Offers Management Skill Development Program

November 15, 2007, Fort Wayne, Indiana: The University of Saint Francis is offering a Management Certificate Program through the Keith Busse School of Business and Entrepreneurial Leadership. The program is designed for working adults who want to enhance their managerial skills as well as develop new competencies.

The Management Certificate Program consists of 12 modules and is delivered by the faculty of the Keith Busse School of Business and Entrepreneurial Leadership at the University of Saint Francis. Six of the modules cover executive, managerial and supervisory skills, two modules deal with financial components such as cost controls, budgeting and investments, two modules focus on improving process and customer satisfaction, one module explores legal and ethical issues, and one module covers project management. These modules are flexible and will accommodate any special requirements of a host company.

Classes will be offered at the location of the sponsoring organization or on the University of Saint Francis campus. Smaller, non-competing organizations can be grouped together to constitute a class. Each module consists of four sessions, each lasting three hours. The first session begins on Monday, January 7, 2008 at 5 p.m. and will be taught every Monday evening (excluding some holidays) thereafter through December 22, 2008.

For more information, call the Keith Busse School of Business and Entrepreneurial Leadership at 260-399-7700 ext. 8300 or e-mail Dr. Lillian Schumacher at lschumacher@sf.edu.

The University of Saint Francis, founded in 1890, is a comprehensive university in the Catholic Franciscan tradition, offering undergraduate and graduate programs to more than 2,100 students from a broad geographic region.
