á La Carte Library Instruction

Introduction to the á La Carte Library Instruction Program

The library is taking a new approach to Library Instruction with a new set of offerings which will allow faculty to customize their library instruction session by choosing from an á la carte menu of topics to be covered during their instruction session. The new program is designed to better address the information literacy standards set forth by the Association of College and Research Libraries.

We are currently reviewing the results of surveys completed by the pilot group during the Fall 2007; in the meantime we have opened the menu format to all faculty who wish to schedule a library instruction session for their students.

If you have any questions or would simply like to speak to a live person, please contact either Cindy Kump (399-7700 x6056 or ckump@sf.edu) or for Health Sciences classes, Lauralee Aven (399-7700 x6057 or laven@sf.edu).
