Health information from the National Institutes of Health, National Library of Medicine and other trusted sources on over 740 diseases and conditions, and drugs.

Description:

This website was designed primarily to provide health consumers with easily understood information, but also offers excellent resources for health professionals.  The database has pre-formulated MEDLINE searches to give easy access to medical journal articles, links to thousands of clinical trials, extensive information about drugs, an illustrated medical encyclopedia, interactive patient tutorials, and latest health news.  Information is available in English and Spanish.

Please note that the most current and detailed information for any database can be found by going directly to the database itself. More information can usually be found in the "ABOUT" or "HELP" sections of most databases. Please contact the library directly (library@sf.edu or 260-399-7700 x.6065) if you have any questions or concerns as you use any of the USF Vann library resources.
