• has been accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs in cooperation with the Accreditation Review Committee on Education in Surgical Technology since 1978
• has graduates who perform above the national mean on the National Certifying Examination for Surgical Technologists, with an 95% pass rate since 1997
• graduates Surgical Technologists who are rated "head and shoulders above those those from other programs" according to Employer Surveys
• features a state-of-the-art Surgical Technique Laboratory that simulates an actual operating room for hands-on practice
