Degree Requirements
The Associate of Science in Surgical Technology degree
is awarded after the student completes the following
requirements:
- Completion of the 67 credit curriculum; at least 32
credits must be earned at the University of Saint
Francis.
- Achievement of a final grade of a "C" (2.0) or above in
each surgical technology and science course,
with a 2.4 or above cumulative GPA.
- Completion of the program requirements within eight
semesters once enrolled in the surgical technology
course sequence.
- Demonstration of clinical competency in routine surgical
procedures.
- Exhibition of desirable professional behaviors.
- Fulfillment of all financial obligations to the
University.
