Top 10 Reasons to Consider Attending the University of Saint Francis Physical Therapist Assistant Program

  1. The program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE).
     
  2. The class size is limited to 22 students.
     
  3. Completion rates are very high: qualified applicants with the tools to succeed are accepted into the program.
     
  4. The pass rate for USF graduates on the state certification exam has consistently been above the national average for each year since the first class graduated in 1997.

  9. Over 90 clinical education sites affiliate with the USF PTA Program.  They offer excellent and varied clinical experiences. Clinical faculty have consistently described USF Physical Therapist Assistant students and graduates as knowledgeable and professional.
     
  10. The PTA Program has resided in a  65,000 square foot facility, the Doermer Family Center for Health Science Education since May, 2000. Space includes faculty offices and dedicated class rooms and laboratory space.
