BS/MS Early Entry Program
Exceptional students may be admitted to the PA Program
without a bachelor’s degree. The university offers dual
admission to both the PA Program and the biology major
with a concentration in PA Studies. This program is
limited to 5 seats per year.
Admission Requirements

1-2 page paper about experiences shadowing a PA for a
total of 10 hours

1-2 page paper about medical interest in voluntary
work, organization activity or training

Approval by the PA Admissions Committee after an

the university and the Department of PA Studies
Begin
your application by contacting the
Office of Undergraduate
Admissions. Admissions counselors will then direct
your application to the Department of PA Studies for
further review.
After enrollment into the university you will be
assigned an advisor who will help you declare a
Biology Major with a concentration in PA Studies.
After completing the bachelor’s degree, you will proceed
directly into the professional phase of PA Studies with
no additional application process
Progression Standards

1000 hours of approved patient care experience prior
to enrollment in the professional phase (master’s
degree curriculum) of the PA Program

BS degree must be completed prior to beginning the
professional phase (master’s degree curriculum) of
the PA Program

All course grades beyond high school must be “C” or
better

Maintain an undergraduate GPA of

Students will have no disciplinary actions recorded by
the Office of Student Life.

Comply will all enrollment requirements of the
professional phase (master’s degree curriculum) of
the PA Program

Submit a non-refundable tuition deposit by March 1
prior to enrolling in the Professional Phase
(master’s degree curriculum)
of the program.
Any student not meeting progression standards will
forfeit their reserved seat in the professional phase
(master’s degree curriculum) of the program but can
apply for admission to the PA class in the regular
admissions process. |
