volunteer activities and have a high school GPA of 2.7
or higher. This scholarship is available to new

from sources outside of the University of Saint
Francis, you are required to report this to the
Office of Financial Aid. This form is
enclosed in each student's initial award
package, or can be printed and returned to the

Special Circumstances Forms
- Students and families who experience a
change in circumstances such as an involuntary loss of
employment or unusual medical/dental expenses not
covered by insurance may request a review of their
financial aid file. Professional judgments are
reserved for extreme situations and families must
provide the appropriate documentation. Students
must complete the Special Circumstance form below,
provide required supporting documentation listed on the
form, and complete the verification process by
submitting verification worksheets (form available
above) and COPY of Federal Tax Return as
indicated on the form.
Special Circumstances do not include the
following:

Matching a financial aid offer from other
universities or colleges
-
Student or parent(s) who does not wish to borrow to
cover educational expenses
-
Parent(s) refusal to contribute to educational
expenses
-
Parent(s) payment of student loans for older sibling
-
Expenses such as credit card debt, wedding expenses,
sports, private school tuition, etc.

Please make sure to use the correct form.
They are different for each academic year, so
adjustments will not be made if the incorrect form is
used. Allow 5-10 business days for a response.
