Project Director,
TRIO Grant
The University of Saint Francis, Fort
Wayne, IN seeks applications for the position of Project
Director, TRIO Grant. Under the direction of the
Assistant to the Provost, directs the Student Support
Services Program per the TRIO grant. The director is
responsible for organizing and managing special support
services for academically and/or economically
disadvantaged college students including tutoring,
academic, career, and transfer advising, and special
services for students with disabilities. It is
essential that the director impart the University’s
Quality Service Standards, listed as follows:

ability to respond

Correct information and actions

Personal contact, personal relationships, and use of
names
4. Professionalism:

This is a
full-time 12-month position working under the TRIO
grant.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education
· Master’s
degree from a regionally accredited institution, in an
appropriate filed (e.g., Education, Counseling,
Behavioral Science, or similar field).
Experience
· Prior
experience in the administration of a developmental
skills development program.
· Prior
successful experience in working with students and
parents whose socioeconomic and academic backgrounds are
similar to those students who will be served by the SSS
project.
Preferred
Qualifications
-
Three or more years administering a TRIO SSS
program.
-
Prior experience in writing and managing grants.
-
Demonstrates a background of having faced the unique
challenges of being a first generation and/or low-
income student.
KNOWLEDGE AND
SKILLS:
-
Appropriate computer skills and knowledge with a
minimum of knowledge of and experience with
Microsoft Office Suite
-
Demonstrate adequate understanding of EDGAR and the
regulations pertaining to the SSS program.

Demonstrate personal characteristics of the type to
ensure successful direction of the SSS project.
