Environment:
Fort
Wayne, located in northeastern Indiana, is the second

Admissions Counselor
University of Saint Francis
has an immediate opening for a full time Admissions
Counselor. Responsibilities include: recruitment and
selection of new students for the university; management
of a geographic territory with travel and evening and
weekend events; tele-counseling; special events;
application review and selection of undergraduate
students; basic Financial Aid knowledge; and
other admissions-related projects. Excellent verbal,
written, computer, multi-tasking, and telephone skills;
strong interpersonal and organizational skills; high

Nursing Department Coordinator
University of Saint Francis is seeking
applications for a full-time Nursing Department
Coordinator to beginning immediately. To qualify,
applicants must possess:

An
associates degree in a related field, bachelors
degree preferred;

Course work or training in office operations
including typing and office procedures,

Course work or training in computer use, word
processing, data base management, and spreadsheets.

Minimum of three years progressively more
responsible experience in providing advanced
secretarial support at the professional level.

Responsibilities include:

Managing the Nursing Department
administrative office with supervisory oversight of

Instructional Designer
The University of
Saint Francis seeks applications for an Instructional
Designer. Under the supervision of the Director of
Distance, Instruction and Educational Technologies,
provides training in campus supported software,
coordinate faculty development programs that assist
faculty in the analysis, design, development, and
implementation of effective instruction and serve as
system administrator for our learning management
system. Quality service is essential in this public
relations position to establish positive first
impressions and expectations of continued quality
service. It is therefore imperative that the

regarding learning theory, best practices for teaching,
and Web-based and computer-assisted course development.
Conducts needs
assessments to identify USF faculty members’ ongoing
professional development needs related to teaching and
learning.
Provides training
classes in campus supported technologies and software.
Assist with
development and conduct professional development
programs in a variety of media for faculty regarding
teaching and learning (e.g. effective teaching
strategies, teaching online, active learning,
problem-based learning, design of teaching-learning
spaces).
Provide handouts and learning materials
as needed, both printed and electronic, for all
professional development programs.
Serve as a resource/troubleshooter regarding course
management software for faculty.
Serve as system administrator for creation of web-based
and computer-assisted courses using online course
management software.
Communicate both
verbally and in writing with various university
constituents including administrators, faculty,
students, other staff and individuals in the university
community.
Attend professional
development workshops to maintain up-to-date knowledge
of teaching and learning and best practices.
Consistently
demonstrates behaviors, attitudes and values congruent
with the philosophy of the University of Saint Francis
and the Franciscan Values.
KNOWLEDGE AND
SKILLS:
Thorough knowledge
of instructional design theories and practice, and
curriculum development related to both campus-based
academic environments and technology-based instruction.
Ability to apply

Experience in
developing and applying new formats for continuing
professional development.
Experience in
developing and using evaluation instruments for
professional development events.
Experience in
effectively using Microsoft Office applications, Web
page development software, Adobe Acrobat, Adobe
Photoshop (desirable), and online course management
systems (Blackboard preferred).
Well developed

written, and a keen sense of collegiality in order to
effectively fulfill the expectations of this position.

MINIMUM
REQUIREMENTS:
Education:
Preferred: Master’s Degree Education,
Curriculum/Development Design, Instructional Technology,
Instructional Design, or an academic discipline with an
emphasis on curriculum development.
Minimum: Bachelor’s Degree plus three
to five years of experience in Curriculum Development in
Higher Education, Distance Education, Instructional
Design or Instructional Technology.
Experience:
Three to five year’s experience in a
higher education setting with substantial experience
with course/program/curriculum development, assessment,
and evaluation. Mac experience desired.
Record of successful classroom and/or
distance teaching at the post-secondary level.

Information Systems Generalist
The University of
