Kristina L.
Bowman is an Assistant Professor of Business at the University of
Saint Francis. She is currently pursuing her doctorate in
Business Administration and has earned a Master’s degree in Adult
Education in addition to undergraduate degrees in Psychology and
Supervision. She is also the Vice President of Free Play, Inc.,
an Indiana-based training and consulting firm. Her teaching
concentrations are Management/Organizational Leadership and Human
Resources Management.
Prior to joining the faculty at USF,
Kristina held faculty positions at various Fort Wayne area
universities. In 2002, Kristina was awarded the Presidential
Award for Outstanding Evening Division Faculty of the Year for
2002 from Indiana Tech. She has traveled extensively throughout
Indiana,
Ohio, and Michigan conducting leadership training and
organizational consulting for manufacturing and service
organizations.
Prior to her tenure at the university level,
Kristina was an Account Executive for United Parcel Service. She
has also experienced the manufacturing world firsthand during her
time working in an Indiana steel mill while pursuing her Master’s
degree.
Kristina is a native of Fort Wayne, where she still resides with her family. In her free time, she
enjoys attending her daughters’ sporting events, shopping for
Elvis memorabilia, and reading any book written by Ken Blanchard
while drinking Starbucks coffee.
