Career Services is refurbishing its services by providing more support to alumni to help with professional development, career searches, networking opportunities and more. Career Services wants our alumni to have a tailor-made experience. Consider all of the services we have to offer as an “a la carte” of items for you to choose from to assist you with professional growth opportunities. As we start a new year, we would like to share a career tip with you. As you may be aware, the number of candidates in the job market has grown, and a job search is a daunting process that can get very frustrating. Often, an individual will start a job search, get lackluster results and just keep searching the same thing but on a different website. Mashable.com shares some strategies to help differentiate you in the job market, which you’ll find on their website.

Since we appreciate and value all of the professional know-how our alumni have, we would love for you to share your experiences and assist Career Services in helping provide professional feedback and getting our soon-to-be graduates career-ready. Throughout the spring semester, Career Services will be hosting a variety of events for our students, including Resume Competition and Mock Interviews. If you would like to judge resumes and/or conduct practice interviews with students, please contact Natalie Wagoner at nwagoner@sf.edu.
