Women’s Basketball

On Feb. 5, the top-ranked Lady Cougars extended their winning streak to 26 with a 66-63 win over Grace College, improving to 12-0 in Crossroads League action.

Men’s Basketball

The #9, 17-6 Cougars got on ESPN’s SportsCenter Top 10 plays on Jan. 25 when Kyle Sovine passed the ball the length of the court to Austin Fox for the game-winning layup at Mt. Vernon Nazarene University 69-68. Then at Taylor University on Jan. 29, USF rallied from a 17-point deficit with 12:16 to play to win in overtime 82-77, keeping its hold on first place in the Crossroads League.
