USF's Cougars ended the regular season with a win in southwestern Ill., and likewise emerged victorious in the playoff game against Baker University. The playoff win earned USF a rematch with 5th-ranked Marian University in a quarterfinal game Nov. 24 – but, USF lost to MU and was denied a ticket to the NAIA Football Championship Series Semifinal Round. The "USF Feeds the Fort" food drive was a big success this year, collecting 30,836 food items for distribution to local food banks and soup kitchens. This year’s effort was the university’s fifth annual drive. [Read More]
Campus Ministry hosted a Christian hip-hop concert in November, bringing a less-known type of Christian music to campus. The genre gives USF a new concert focus. [Read More]
