Campus Ministry Hosts Christian Hip-Hop
Campus Ministry at the University of Saint Francis hosted Christian Hip-Hop Nite Nov.16 in the North Campus auditorium. Chesternique Rolle, nationally known hip-hop artist and creator of the song “Just Believe,” made a special appearance, along with K-Drama, Da Messenger and 737.
The event was organized by USF ministry major Aaron Smelser as his ministry practicum, with the purpose of providing a venue for a less-known type of Christian music. The hip-hop genre represents a new concert focus for USF since the university’s concerts previously have featured mainstream Christian artists.
