She has three sons who all graduated from IPFW and work out of state and overseas, two in South Korea. Annette and her husband, Alan, live one block from the University of Saint Francis now, but they previously lived in Japan, Saudi Arabia and elsewhere due to their involvement with the U.S. military after college. Annette mentioned "how funny it is that she began at St. Francis College (SFC), lived all over the world, and now she is right back where she started." She remembers her summer trip to Europe with faculty from SFC like it was yesterday. Annette has very fond memories of the wonderful times spent with college friends.

The past four to six years of Jay's life have seen a dramatic conversion in his life and faith. Specifically, being at USF helped Jay discover his Catholic faith. He was baptized, confirmed, and received first communion at Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Church on April 3, 2010. After being at St. Elizabeth's for two years and having a constant fight with God about what he was being called to do, Jay applied to the Diocese of Fort Wayne/South Bend in November 2011. On April 26, he was officially accepted by Bishop Kevin Rhoades as a seminarian. Jay will begin his studies in the fall of 2012 at Mount Saint Mary's in Emmitsburg, Md., going into his first year of pre-theology. He is very excited about this next adventure in his life and looks forward to experiencing what God is calling him to do.

Maggie Ward (BA '11) is still obsessed with cinema, an interest that began with USF's University Film Club when she and her peers learned in a dark screening room how to analyze film. Horror film in particular stuck with her, after the club's last screening, Poltergeist. In June 2012, Maggie spoke about horror film history to an audience at Tippecanoe County Library.
