Welcome to USF CHEER!

Beginning our 9th year, the Cougar Cheer Program continues to grow.  The program has grown to include 3 varsity teams and 1 competition team.  The Football Team cheers for all home football games and occasionally travels to nearby - away games.  The Blue Team and White Team splits all Men's and Women's home basketball games and also occasionally travels to some conference games. 

Tryout Information

Tryouts for the 2008-09 school year will be held on April 11 & 12.  Contact Coach Nicole Henline for information.
         
All members cheer for the football season from August-December

Blue Team: Team of 8-12 co-ed members who cheer for the Men's and Women's basketball seasons from November-March

White Team: Team of 12-20 all-girl members who cheer for the Men's and Women's basketball seasons from November-March

Competition: Team of 16-20 members who compete in several college competitions.  Requires higher cheerleading skills and tumbling.  Must be in addition to one of the above three teams. 

Requirements:  Toe-touch, Double Toe-touch, Pike jumps; perform our school Fight Song; Perform 1 cheer; All-Girl full and lib; Co-ed toss-hands-extension; preferred standing backhandspring

Camps

Private Stunt Clinics from the Cougar Cheer Team:
Stunt Clinics are offered on a individual and team basis throughout the year.  University of Saint Francis Coaches & Cheerleaders instruct the camps/clinics.  Camps can and will be customized to your individual needs.  We offer instruction in fundamentals, technique, jumps, and stunting.  All camps can be scheduled around your schedule at your school.

Stunt Clinic Offerings/Costs:
     *1 Full Days (6 hours)          $ 50.00 * Per person
     *2 Full Days (12 hours)          $ 85.00 * Per person
     *2 Half Days (8 hours)           $ 60.00 * Per person
     *Per Hour Basis:                   $ 15.00 * Per person
