   Four Top 25 opponents and three 2007 NAIA FCS qualifiers highlight the University of Saint Francis 2008 football scheduleIA post-season Top 25, three in the Top 10.

  USF, which moved up from No. 5 to No. 4 in the final NAIA Top 25 for the 2007 season, will open its 11^th campaign with back-to-back road games before the home opener on September 27 against 10^th-ranked St. Ambrose University. USF has won 45 consecutive home games and is 61-7 at home in 10 seasons, 61-2 in last nine seasons.

  The Cougars will open the season at Quincy University in Quincy, Ill, on September 13. The following Saturday on September 20, USF will open Mid-States Football Association play at Taylor University in Upland, Ind.

  Times for the road games will be announced at a later date.

  On October 4, sixth-ranked Ohio Dominican returns to Bishop D’Arcy Stadium, the only team to beat the Cougars in their last 60 regular-season games. USF’s other three home games include back-to-back games with NCAA Division II Lake Erie College on October 18 and Walsh University on October 25. USF closes its regular-season home schedule on November 8 against 25^th-ranked Malone College.

   “With four ranked teams on the schedule, we’ve got our hands full,” USF Coach Kevin Donley said. “We’ve got three of those Top 25 teams coming here, so we’re working hard to get ready for another challenging season.”

   The rest of the road schedule includes a trip to Marian College in Indianapolis on October 11, a trip to Urbana University in Urbana, Ohio, on November 1, and the final regular season game at No. 8 Saint Xavier University in Chicago on November 15.
