CARMEL, Ind. --
University of Saint Francis recruits Devron Robinson, Neven
Fingerhut and Kevin Smith played key roles in the North's
20-7 win on Saturday afternoon at Carmel High School.
Robinson, a
Heritage High School graduate, ignited the North comeback
with a 42-yard TD run in the third quarter. Playing fullback
for the North, Robinson led his team in rushing with 61
yards on just four carries. Fingerhut, a Culver Military
Academy grad, added 32 yards on seven carries. Smith, a
Longansport H.S. grad, kicked two extra points for the
North.
The 41st annual Grange Insurance
North/South All-Star Classic, which benefits handicapped children
at Camp Riley as well as the Indiana Football Hall of Fame,
pits recently graduated Northern Indiana players versus
recently graduate Southern Indiana players.
The all-time series is led 22-19 by the South.
