and Dutcher are the only two players in MSFA history
starting in 1995 to earn the honor twice in the same season.
Cougars, Kurtz had nine tackles, five solo, one pass broken
up and the game-clinching interception at the USF 20 in the
No. 1 Cougars’ 21-20 win at Geneva College on Nov. 11. He

Westafer ramble for a 57-yard TD with a first quarter
interception. And the Bishop Luers grad also caught a 4-yard
game-tying TD pass from QB Eric Hooks in the fourth quarter
against Geneva.

All-American, has won the weekly conference tribute for his
football career at USF.
