Bishop John M. D'Arcy Stadium / Kevin Donley Field

Built: 1998
Capacity: 3,000
Bishop John M. D'Arcy Stadium

Construction was completed in the summer of 1998. In 2004 the natural grass field was replaced with state-of-the-art Sporturf. The stadium was re-dedicated in 2003 honoring Bishop John M. D'Arcy and in Fall 2006 the field was named Kevin Donley Field. BDS serves has home to the national power football team as well as the men's and women's soccer teams.
The stadium holds nearly 3,000 spectators. It also serves the Fort Wayne community playing host to Catholic Youth Organization football games on Sundays in the fall along with other community oriented programs. Beneath the stands, The Tom Jehl Football Complex includes administrative and coaches offices, locker rooms, rest rooms, conference rooms, and a training room. The facilities were re-dedicated and named to honor Tom Jehl, a Fort Wayne sports icon known for his generosity developing facilities and opportunities for the city athletics. A wall recognizing the Stadium Founders Club members who have provided financial support for its construction.
And thanks to generous donations, BDS has a new stadium entrance at the north end of the stadium to add to the USF GameDay experience as the football program tackles its 10th season.

T
The center of University of Saint Francis athletics is the Hutzell Athletic Center – named in the honor of Miss Irma Hutzell, a long-time benefactor of USF. The athletic center was built in 1990, and immediately began its key role in the continued development of Cougar athletes. In November of 1990 the men’s basketball team upset cross-town rival IPFW, 66-64, for the first Cougar victory in the center. The center has been home to numerous basketball and volleyball tournaments – collegiate, high school and youth leagues -- and also serves as indoor training facility for USF track & field, softball and baseball programs. In addition to the arena, Hutzell Athletic Center contains a training room, weight room and administrative offices.
