Ind. -- James Dueling was the top finisher for the USF
cross country teams this weekend at the MCC meet held on the
campus of Butler University. Dueling's finishing
time of 27:36 was good for 21st place in a field of 83.
Alex Bush also finished in the top half of the field as he
finished in 37th place with a time of 28:12. The men's
race was won by Huntington's Joseph Njeri with a time of
25:50.
On the women's side Amy Roberts led the way for the Cougars
as she finished in 48th place with a time of 21:19.
Tiffany Bremer was five places behind her as she came through
in 21:33 and Robyn Chapman finished in 22:34. Freshman
Molly Getts finished in 75th place with a time of 22:56 and
another freshman, Jenny Schaefer was close behind with a time
of 23:10.
The women's 5k race was won by Indiana Wesleyan's Emily
LaSala with a time of 18:33. USF will get ready for
Regionals, the last meet of the season which will be held on
November 3rd in Grand Rapids, MI.
