Sat., Sep. 8, 2007 Upland, Ind. -- The University of Saint Francis Cross Country team opened their season at the Taylor Invite on Saturday. Leading the women was junior Tiffany Bremer with a time of 22:42. She was followed by sophmore Robyn Chapman in 23:29. On the men's side James Dueling raced for the Cougars for the first time in almost a year. He finished the 8k in 29:34. Running his first collegiate 8k was Alex Bush who had a strong outing as he finished with a time of 30:32. "First races are always tough, " said head coach Sarah Thrall. "Both Tiffany and Robyn ran about two minutes faster this year than they did last year so that was nice to see. I was also really happy with Alex. He was tough out there today and I know he'll improve a lot as the season goes on."
The Cougars only have five days until they run again at the
