Wesleyan University defeated No. 6 University of Saint
Francis 65-56 on Wednesday night at Hutzell Athletic Center.
Senior Tara Dice led USF scoring with 15
points including 3-for-4 shooting from 3-point range. Senior
Jessica Hathaway added 14 points for USF (25-4, 13-3 MCC).
USF honored seniors Tara Dice, Jessica Hathaway, Jenny
Richards and Kacy Blotkamp before the game.
Kayla Thompson led IWU (24-5, 10-5
MCC) with 18 points. Lisa Thompson added 16 points and
Brooke Amstutz 15. IWU led 30-20 at halftime. USF won the
first meeting at IWU 59-51 in January.
USF has one more regular season game
at the University of Northwestern Ohio in Lima, Ohio on
Friday at 7:30 p.m.
