Mich. -- The Lady Cougar basketball team extended its
winning streak to three with a 78-69 road win over Davenport
University. USF (5-1) got 21 points from Tara Dice and 18
from Chivonn Keppeler to fight off the athletic Panthers.
Nikki Lewis
(17) and Jessica Hathaway (11) were the other two Lady
Cougars in double figures.
USF visits
cross-town non-conference foe Indiana Tech Saturday, Nov. 18
at 1 p.m., hoping to avenge arguably its worst loss of the
2005-06 season. The Warriors knocked off a flat-footed
Cougar team 87-75 Nov. 18, 2005 -- one of three straight
losses before USF rattled off 16 wins in 20 starts to close
the 2005-06 regular season.
