FORT WAYNE, Ind. -- Nineteen points and six assists from sophomore point guard Toni Burney helped the No. 8 University of Saint Francis women's basketball team to an 86-70 win over No. 2 Cedarville University in the opening game of the Stifel, Nicolaus & Company Incorporated Classic at Hutzell Athletic Center Friday.

The Lady Cougars shot lights out all night, hitting 32-of-59 field goal attempts, including 10-of-17 three-point tries. The high percentage made up for 17 turnovers, several of which came as a result of Cedarville's half-court trap in the second half.

Chivonn Keppeler came alive after halftime, scoring 12 points in the final 20 minutes -- 16 total. Nikki Lewis finished with 14 and Jessica Hathaway 12. Cedarville's Brittany Smart led all scorers with 24.

USF plays again tomorrow, Saturday, Nov. 11 at 2 p.m. versus University of Saint Francis (Ill.).
