forward Kevin Sindle has become the first Mid-Central
Conference USF Player-of-the-Week this season after he
averaged 24.5 points per game in two wins for the week of
Nov. 26-Dec. 1.
Sindle, a 6-foot-5 sophomore
and an Elkhart Memorial graduate, scored 27 points to lead
USF over Madonna on Tuesday, then followed up with 22 points
in the Cougars' MCC opening win, 87-68 over Spring Arbor, on
Saturday. He shot 68 percent in the two games.
Sindle is No. 2 in MCC
scoring averaging 22.9 points per game and he is No. 12 in
NAIA national scoring. He also is No. 20 in NAIA 3-pointers
made per game at 3.0 prior to today's game (Dec. 4) at
Huntington at 7 p.m.
