Eaton, Ankenbruck named to All-Tournament Team

  FINDLAY, Ohio – University of Saint Francis junior Nick Ankenbruck and freshman Trey Eaton were named to the Bliss Charters Tip-Off Tournament All-Tournament team after the University of Findlay defeated the Cougars 91-60 on Sunday in the championship game.

Eaton scored 14 points to lead USF (4-4) and Ankenbruck added 11, the only other Cougar in double figures.

Chase Holden converted a three-point play to draw USF within two points, 5-3, of the NCAA II ninth-ranked Oilers, but the Cougars got no closer. UF went on a 16-4 run to take a 21-7 lead with 15:06 to play and led by as many as 19 points late in the first half before settling for a 44-28 halftime lead.

UF (3-0) continued its hot shooting in the second half and led by as many as 33 points late in the second half.

The Oilers outshot USF .508 (32-63) to .365 (23-63) and outrebounded the Cougars 46-32.
