| Cougars hold on to No. 17 in NAIA Top 25 |

Tues., Feb. 10, 2004 The University of Saint Francis men’s basketball remained No. 17 in this week’s NAIA Division II Top 25 ratings despite going 1-1 last week. The Cougars (16-12) dropped a 78-74 decision at Grace College on Tuesday (Feb. 3), then bounced back for an 83-66 win at Indiana Wesleyan on Saturday (Feb. 7). It’s the first time USF has been ranked in the Top 25 in back-to-back weeks since February 2001. USF travels to Taylor University for an 8:15 p.m. tip-off against No. 23 Taylor (20-6). The Cougars are tied for first in the Mid-Central Conference with No. 11 Marian and No. 18 Huntington at 7-3. TU is a game back at 6-4. It is the third week this season USF has made the Top 25 ratings. The Cougars also continue to lead NAIA in free-throw shooting percentage at .785. Freshman Trey Eaton (Claypool, IN / Tippecanoe Valley) leads USF free-throw shooters at .914 and is No. 8 in NAIA free-throw shooting.
