Senior center leads USF All-MCC trio |

Thurs., Feb. 24, 2005 INDIANAPOLIS -- University of Saint Francis senior Chase Holden has been named to the 2004-05 Mid-Central Conference all-conference second team. Holden (Hamilton, IN / Hamilton) was one of three Cougars named to the All-MCC team. John Gensic (Albion, IN / Bishop Dwenger) and Nick Ankenbruck (Fort Wayne / Homestead) received honorable mention status. Holden, an all-MCC Honorable Mention selection in 2003-04, finished his four-year career with the career rebounding record – 827 – and he finished with 1,572 points, fifth on the USF career scoring list. Holden, who played center for USF, finished No. 3 in rebounding in the MCC with a 7.3 average. He finished seventh in the MCC in scoring with a 15.6 average. Gensic finished with 1,377 points, eighth on the USF career scoring list. Ankenbruck led the MCC in free-throw percentage this season – .884 on 61-for-69 shooting. -- GO USF -- |
