GOSHEN, Ind. -- Matt
Degitz pitched a 3-hit shutout for a 5-0 win in Game 1, then
the University of Saint Francis completed the sweep at
Goshen College with a 6-1 win in Game 2 on Tuesday
afternoon.
It was the third
consecutive double-header sweep for the Cougars (14-19, 9-6
MCC). Taylor Futterknecht had two RBI in Game 1 and Ben
Dunlap and Jake Trahin added one each for USF. Futterknecht
had the only extra-basehit for the Cougars with a double.

in the fifth and Austin Leisure's pinch-hit single up the
middle knotted the game at 1. USF added two more runs to
take a 3-1 lead, then added two in the sixth and one in the
seventh. Mike Gillig started and picked up the win. Jon
Saporsantos, Travis Potchka, Jarrod Wehri and Dunlap added
RBI's for USF. Potchka and Berto Nunez doubled for USF,
which has won six straight and 7 of its last 8 games.
