RECIPIENTS SHALL:
- Have attained prominence through their
professional accomplishments in religion, commerce, industry,
technology, the arts, education, government, or other worthy
endeavors.
- Be persons of such integrity, stature, and
demonstrated ability that the faculty, staff, students, and
alumni will take pride in and be inspired by their recognition.
- Have a record of accomplishments impressive
to the citizens of the nominees' communities.
- Reflect, by their deeds, the importance of
their education, pride in their alma mater, and demonstrated
loyalty to the University Of Saint Francis.
- Have demonstrated an interest in, and support
of, the university, the Alumni Association, and its activities.
- Have graduated from any of the five schools
under the USF umbrella including:
- Saint Francis College
- Lutheran College of Health Professionals
- Lutheran Hospital School of Nursing
- Saint Joseph Hospital School of Nursing
- University Of Saint Francis
DISTINGUISHED ALUMNUS(A) AWARD
This award is open to all Saint Francis Alumni.
DISTINGUISHED YOUNG
ALUMNUS(A) AWARD
This award is open to all Saint Francis Alumni who have graduated
in the last five years
(from the classes of 2000-2006).
DISTINGUISHED SERVICE
AWARD
This award is open to all Saint Francis Alumni
HONORARY ALUMNUS(A)
AWARD
This award is open to friends, faculty, former faculty, staff,
administrators, and benefactors who have been supportive of the
university as a whole.
SELECTION PROCESS
The Alumni Academy Selection Committee will
consist of eight members. The Director of Alumni Relations,
three alumni, two faculty, and two administrators of the
university. The Director of Alumni Relations will vote only
in case of a tie. The nomination forms will be provided to
all faculty, staff, and alumni. After the nominations will
be presented, all pertinent information will be shared, and a
selection will be made.
Except for the Honorary
Alumnus award, nominees must have been enrolled in a regular
course of study at the University of Saint Francis and must have
received a diploma, degree, or certificate from the University of
Saint Francis. |
